Construction companies require a constant supply of water and often at high pressure during the manufacture of bricks, tiles and structural reinforced concrete. Pumping water is also required for washdown and the recovery of water for recycling can be a difficult task. Owing to changing requirements within the construction industry, the amount of off-site waste has to be minimised necessitating the recovery of solids from the liquid. The industry also requires the addition of colour to cement, concrete and finished products.

Tthe ATEX approved Verderflex peristaltic pump range is able to handle abrasive media and has the ability to run dry and self-prime, the range also provides accurate and repeatable dosing. Thanks to the advanced design of the Verderflex Peristaltic pump, only the hose comes into contact with the substance being pumped thus eliminating the need for costly pump repairs or replacement caused by abrasion. The range is also chemically resistant allowing it to handle corrosive products and other corrisive media.
