For effective liquid transfer a pump is required that can handle viscous and abrasive media as well as liquid containing solids: several of our pumps are ideal for this, such as the ATEX-approved Verderflex peristaltic pump and Verderair Air operated double diaphragm pump. The Verderflex peristaltic pump is ideal for these applications as it can be used in the transfer of primary sludge to great effect: this application can often lead to costly downtime due to blockages and repair. The Verderflex peristltic pump is ideal for pumping primary sludge because of its ability to handle liquids containing solids.

Wastewater is often difficult to pump due to the high solids contents and/or its abrasive nature. Because of this, Verder provides quality, robustly constructed pumps capable of carrying out this difficult application.

For sodium hypochlorite, as well as lime dosing, there is a requirement for pumps with accurate and repeatable dosing rates, low shear, and the ability to safely handle abrasive and corrosive media. Click here to read more about our bespoke dosing systems.
