Verder Group honours 20 years of experience

Date: 02-06-2008

The Verder Group began in 1959 as a local industrial distribution company. Since then the company has grown to be an international operating organisation with 450 employees distributed over 15 countries. Verder B.V. consists of three divisions; Liquids handling, Process handling and Laboratory equipment.

The liquids division of the Verder Group experienced continuous growth, both by autonomous growth as well as acquisitions. The liquids division includes 16 international companies in Europe, China and South Africa, who market pumping solutions.

During the last liquids meeting in Malta, Andries Verder, CEO of the Verder Group, has honored three managers for their 20-years active service in the pumping division of Verder B.V.

The three managers are:

  • Frank Meersman, managing director EMPO-Verder in Belgium, also responsible for the export;
  • Peter Steinbrecher, managing director Verder Austria in Vienna and mentor for the East-European countries;
  • Walter Koch, former business development manager within Verder and now managing director of ProMinent Verder in the Netherlands.

This indicates the loyalty and commitment of Verder people, which is one of the basics elements for future growth in serving customers.
