Verder, the specialist pumping solutions supplier for the water, chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries, has joined forces with Naiad, experts in the design and installation of chemical dosing systems, to supply customers with an all encompassing Dosing Package.

Mike Heap, Sales Director at Verder explains how customers will benefit from the new partnership: “Although we’ve worked with Naiad before, the new Package Dosing System we have introduced gives customers the benefit of a complete system developed by the combined experience and resources of Verder and Naiad. As always customers of the Dosing Package can also benefit from support through the whole process, from the specification and design stages to the manufacture and installation of the product. The system comprises of a tank, bund, kiosk, pumps and dose control panel and has been tried and tested at Scania’s training facility in Loughborough for 10 years where it has performed faultlessly. The unit works by dosing ferrous chloride to a small activated sludge plant and consistently meets the Environment Agency’s consents. Verder’s peristaltic pumps provide the robust and precise dosing required for this package. The system can also offer long-term savings by enabling the site owner to opt for the most economic chemical on the market, copperas crystal (copperas 20% iron liquid chemical 10-14% iron).
