Liquiflo gear pumps: for process and chemical industryThe Verdergear Liquiflo gear pumps are especially designed for applications in the chemical process industry, suitable for the transfer of many difficult fluids. They have a flow rating of 0.4 up to 220 l/min, at maximal pressures of 15.5 bar. The Liquiflo pump series consists of 4 models, each model offering specific advantages for different parts of the industry. Advantages and features of Verdergear Liquiflo gear pumps
H - Series: the new Liquiflo standard with differential pressures up to 15 barThe Verdergear Liquiflo series H pumps are the high pressure pumps for the best results in high pressure fluids pumping. Flow rates up to 115 l/min and differential pressures up 15.5 bar. Both in classic coupled versions as well as with magnetic coupling. In these series the outside shaft diameter, bearings and seals are larger than at the 3 series of pumps, enabling higher operating pressures and resulting in a longer life time. When duly selected, pumping at pressures 20 bars can be realised. 3 – Series: the proven Liquiflo gear pumpThe 3 Series has been the Liquiflo standard gear pumps series for many years. Although the high pressured H series has now been promoted to be the successor of this series still the 3 Series is a proven and reliable solution. Both in magnetic drive version (100% leakfree The H, the 3 and the 4 Series are available in both sealed as well as in mag drive versions. Mag drive pumps offer a simple and non-expensive solution for perfect sealing of pumps, that are pumping toxic, dangerous or cristallizing fluids, or have other problems when using single seals. Mag drive pumps eliminate the need for cooling loops that are required by double mechanical seals. Liquiflo gear pumps, for high and low viscosity pumpingHigh viscous fluidsFor high viscous applications we advise a larger pump series. These have a lower rotation speed and are therefore more efficient for high viscous media. Low viscous fluidsBecause of the hydraulic differences (low flow rates, high pressures, compact design and pulse free pumping) and the economical prices, gear pumps are often chosen to pump low viscous fluids. By using wolfram carbide coated shafts, and silica carbide bearings and special designed housings, the lubrication of the bearings has been improved enormously thus enabling pumping of liquids up to only 0.3 cP.
