Verdermix static mixers: the models

VMV: The Verdermix standard static mixer is simple to use and has excellent stock availability. The element chain is permanently fixed inside the tube.

VML: This series of static mixers is similar to the VMV series, however the VML elements chain is mounted into the pipe in such a way that it can easily be removed for cleaning.

VMS: This is a mixer for food applications and pharmaceutical industries. The mixer surfaces must be very smooth for food processing. Special attention is given to the smoothness of the welds - dead corners are avoided. In this Verdermix design, the element chain is always retractable from the tube and specially designed thin-walled “sanitary” tubes are used.

VMD: The VMD range has an exceptional build quality - The mixing elements have been ground to an exact diameter (micro accurate) and are tightly assembled into the pipe construction. This series of static mixers is recommended for where there is significant variance between the viscosities of the fluids to be mixed. If the elements are soldered to the pipe this will also increase the heat transfer coefficient in heat exchanger applications.
