Title arrow Peristaltic Verderflex

Verderflex peristaltic hose pumps are currently involved in the pumping of a vast array of products, from waste water to raspberry sauce, yet in each of these roles Verderflex peristaltic pumps provide the same high level of reliability and cost-effectiveness. Peristaltic pumps often last longer than other types due to their design: the hose is the only working part in contact with the fluid. This reduces the cost of maintenance and, due to the reduced downtime, the associated costs are minimised.

Verderflex hoses are specifically designed to maximise hose life resulting in even fewer replacements and even greater cost reductions. The single most common point of failure with pumping equipment, peristaltic hose pumps being sealless in their design eliminate this problem at a stroke.

Verder produces hose for peristaltic pumps that is the end result of extensive research relating to the materials and construction of the hose, the end result is a superior performing hose specifically for use in peristaltic hose pumps. Our statement to users of peristaltic pumps is quite simply, if the Verder peristaltic hose does not outperform that of your current supplier, your purchase will be refunded.

To further enhance the life of the hose fitted in peristaltic pumps Verder have, in Verderlube, produced a lubricant that reduces friction and wear to the external carcass of the hose. Verderlube is suitable for use with many makes of peristaltic pumps and has full certification with respect to food quality and acceptable impact on the environment.

Verder offer a comprehensive selection and application service with respect to the use of peristaltic hose pumps. This includes system design, the prediction of pulsation effects and their elimination where undesirable. Verder have many years experience in the application of peristaltic pumps and has reference to a register of successful projects involving peristaltic pumps.

Verderflex peristaltic pumps have proven most successful when applied to dosing systems, particularly where the fluid is viscous, contains solids, is an abrasive slurry or has a tendency to gas. Peristaltic pumps provide a more reliable and competitive solution to traditional metering pumps that have the draw back of a reciprocating action combined with complex ball valve systems that wear and become blocked with product. Peristaltic pumps have been very successfully incorporated into dosing systems using sodium hypochlorite, lime slurries, kalic, copperas, hop oil, and flavourings.
Verder supplied The Water Research Council with a peristaltic pump which it used to evaluate the use of peristaltic pumps to dose lime in the water industry. The council had extremely positive results in this trial.

Verderflex peristaltic pumps are available in a variety of sizes (from 5mm (3/16”) to 125mm (5”) internal diameter of the hose) with flow rates from 30ml/min to 80m3/hr and continuous discharge pressure up to 15bar it is suitable for both small and large volume applications. Verderflex peristaltic pumps are self-priming and have suction lift up to 9.5m or 95% vacuum.
