The internal gear pumps of the series are positive displacement protary pumps and they are designed to give a smooth, non-pulsating flow. The Verder gear pump is of a robust construction and has various port configurations. It has been engineered to be flexible and offers an options package to allow it to be tailored to an individual's needs. The Verdergear rotary gear pump is manufactured in cast iron and stainless steel; other materials are however available.

Verdergear is self-priming, has good suction capability and low shear making it ideal for sensitive products. The flow achieved by the pump is proportional to the pump’s speed.
